The Flux table lamp, part of the new ‘Enlightenment’ collection by Noé Duchaufour Lawrence marks the designer’s first collaboration with GAIA&GINO. The hand blown glass light first debuted at Milan in March this year. It was designed to evoke glass as it is being blown with the central column representing air as it passes through the material. The marble base recalls the mineral origins of glass and this connection between process, material and form fascinates us. The source of light, which renders the piece functional is buried deep within the heart of the piece enveloped in layers of beautifully crafted hand blown glass.
